First time organising a funeral, and Lesley was amazing. From the minute we met with her, she made us feel at ease. She guided us through every aspect and went above and beyond to help us through the process. Her compassion, professionalism and genuine respect was above anything we could have asked for. I have no hesitation in recommending White Lady Funerals Chelmer. Forever grateful. Thank you, Lesley.

Meet Jo Smith, White Lady Funerals Chelmer location manager
What do you enjoy about your job?
It is a privilege to be able to guide and support families during one of their most challenging times. Connecting with them and helping to plan a service to celebrate the life of their loved one. Kindness and understanding are the key.
How long have you worked in the funeral industry?
I have worked in the industry since 2007 and have been an arranger for 16 years.
Forming connections with families and assisting them with kindness is important to me.
What do you love about the community your funeral home is in?
Chelmer is close to the city and is bound by the Brisbane River. The houses are beautiful Queenslander style, and the area has many old trees and parks.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy going to the movies, working with mosaics, gardening, drawing, and spending time with family and close friends. I have an interest in saving Koalas and work to help sick or injured Koalas survive.
Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
I support the RSPCA and have worked with the Salvation Army and the CWA. Along with my fellow colleagues at White Lady Funerals we offer support and guidance to nursing homes and other groups in need.
